My yeast packet has expanded while in the fridge I cannot tell if the "ball" is still there to crush - how to I tell ? Is the yeast unusable ? Thanks guys
Recently made the mistake of choosing a lager ( my fault for not paying attention) instead of an ale to make and I now realize halfway through the cooking process that I will it be able to chill it at the right temp - what are my options ?!!??!!

Recently brewed my first batch of a Belgian wheat beer and after two weeks of being bottled the head is annoyingly aggressive to the point where is takes two glasses to hold beer and head. Any idea as to what I can do to not make this mistake again ?
