I had a bad bottle of Sam Adams. The beer store would not give me another bottle (some city ordinance forbids them) but said I could have a quart bottle of anything thay carried. It was all swill so I got the bud ( my cousin loves the $h!+ and refuses to drink anythink else ).

Anyway, here's my question has anyone bottled reusing the screw on tops?
If so how many uses would it be good for?

Also thinking about using it as a starter bottle if I can find a stopper.

I keg, but I've found the Coors quart screwtops (same as the bud) to be really convienent for keeping two pints in the upstairs fridge, or for transporting a couple of pints.

I just fill the bottle with my BMBF, and screw the cap on tight. If the cap gives out, I'll drop $1.79 on another quart of Coors (which I still enjoy after working / mowing the lawn).
