I find that I get some slight variations in taste between bottles in my second batch (first AG, EdW's Haus Ale).

*Could that come from my conditioning, which is not very set yet (top of fridge for warm spot, then cool basement)?

*Traces of junk left in bottles..?

*"Stratification" of fluids in bottling bucket?
Carbonation seems right on.

I realise this is an old post, but did you prime in the bottling bucket or did you individually add the sugar to the bottles? I've primed that way before and it does not promote consistancy.

I prime the classic way, bottling bucket, priming mixture first, then beer delivered by means of tubing....

This has not happened in subsequent batches, I must say, or at least it was not noticed.
