Had some pretty good activity this morning and had foam coming out of the blow-off valve this morning so went to my lhbs after work to get a new valve and some blowoff tubing. Came home to the blow-off valve on the ground and beer in the closet. Anyone had this happen and still turned a decent beer? I am not expecting much for my first beer.

it should still be ok... the co2 coming out will push away the oxygen so the beer shouldn't get stale from the airlock popping off.

You're fine, except for cleaning up and installing the blow-off tube. Nothing can get it in there while it is chugging like that. Lots of reports on this - it should be fine.
