Chinook cuttings growing in water

Thought you guys would like to see what I did with one of the cuttings from my Chinook.

Pretty much wanted to play a joke on the SWMBO, by putting one of the cutting in a wine bottle next to her vase full of roses. However, the damn thing never died and now it has roots! I am going to plant it in a pot and bring it to my office.

I am going to start doing this with all my cutting and spread the hops to friends and family, and then go harvest later on in the year. :ban:
 
Cool. Seems like a lot of plant cuttings will sprout in water and flourish for a little while. Some longer than others.
 
Good to know. This method of propagation works with many plants.

When you're visiting somewhere and find hops growing, take a sample, drop it in water, and there ya go ...
