Large PM using DeathBrewers stovetop method with 12lbs of grain and DME to make up the difference. Replace the DME with another 11lbs of 2 row for an AG.

Waited to post this until I'm half way through the second case. It's really delicious. Solid malt flavor, plenty chocolate and mild spice, great winter warmer. Well worth the wait. Give it 5-6 months in bottle/keg to age and you won't be disappointed. My favorite brew so far.

Update: I tasted a few bottles alongside Flying Dog's "Horn Dog" and Mad River's 2008 "John Barleycorn" and it's right in the ballpark of both. My attempt has more chocolate but the balance of bitterness, malt and alcohol are surprisingly similar.
