Is it true that after I drink from my bottles, I can just immediately rinse them out and keep them upside down back in the case. Then put them in the dishwasher and was them WITHOUT detergent on the dry heat cycle and I'm good to use them again?

or do I have to use some type of solution with a bottle brush?

Thanks in advance.

The oven is the way to go, rinse out the bottles and throw them in the oven at 275-300 for a while. Don't cool them down too fast just in case.

I used to put my bottles in the dishwasher with a little bleach.... high heat wash....never had a problem.

I always rinse after pouring, let dry and put back in the box right side up. I use the dishwasher for sanitizing the bottles on bottling day, I always use heated dry and the hi-temp wash cycle, my dishwasher doesn't have a 'sanitize' cycle. I've yet to have a problem, many many bottles later.
