Hey, just wondering what is the minimum length of shank if mounting them on a 2x4 type board (1.75" thickness)? I think the 3 1/8" would be sufficient but just want to make sure before I buy anything. Thanks!

2 3/4" works great for me on my Koolerator. I buy the ones with the nipples already on them. They are the least intrusive on the interior of the Koolerator.

Thanks Ed. I was thinking that route would be the best for me. I appreciate the help!

1-5/8" of any shank will be taken up by the faucet and tailpiece, so add the thickness of the material you want to put it thru (1.75") to 1-5/8" and you get the overall legnth.

1-5/8 + 1-3/4 = total shank legnth
= 3-3/8"

not sure if they come exactly in 3-3/8", so order the next closest size.
