Was reading a couple articles online, and I came across a couple that stated you can use Dme to fix a missed gravity reading on AG. Has any one heard of this or used Dme on AG?
Would u add Dme directly to the wort? .
Does the Irish moss give u a more accurate reading ?
Just seem a little unsanitary adding Dme to the wort after flameout
Yep, light is perfect. Here's a calculation to help you figure out how much to add (or you could just wing it):Thanx, I will keep some Dme on hand and I assume it should be light Dme?

Yeah I brewed Saturday all the way through And pitched the yeast that night. I don't think I actually added the DME until Tuesday. I dissolved the DME, cooled, aerated, and poured through the Krausen that had already formed. Hope this helps.
