OK, on another board there was some discussions about Beach Bum Ale by Anheiser Busch. Its a new seasonal by AB, and its actually a pretty decent blonde ale. I posed the question of formulating a recipe.
Now, what i learned of the AB site was the following:
-Blonde Ale
-5.7%ABV
-Pale and Caramel Malts
-Alsace, Hallertau, and Cascade Hops
So, here is my first attempt...
Ingredients
Amount Item Type % or IBU
3.25 lb Extra Light Dry Extract (3.0 SRM) Dry Extract 40.6 %
4.00 lb Pale Liquid Extract (8.0 SRM) Extract 50.0 %

Est Original Gravity: 1.058 SG

Feel free to correct/change/laugh...I didn't get any real feedback on the other baord, so i thought I would try here.
