Anybody got a good recipe for an Oatmeal Stout (partial grain)?
I got rave reviews with this one:
1 lb. rolled oats
4 lbs. (1.8 kg) 6-row (American Pale) malted barley
½ lb. (225 g) Crystal malt 40 L
½ lb. (225 g) Chocolate malt
¼ lb. (110 g) roasted barley
3.3 lbs. dark malt extract
2 oz. Willamette hops (boiling)
¼ oz. Hallertau hops (aroma) at flame out
White Labs WLP004 (Irish Ale) yeast
Samuel Smith Tadcaster Oatmeal Stout is really good for a bought one
