Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let all the mead lovers in New England know about a big event at Sap House Meadery in Center Ossipee, N.H., this weekend.

Sap House is holding "Operation Santa Weekend" on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the meadery. Not only will $2 from every bottle sold go to Operation Santa (gifts for kids in need at Christmas time), but they will be re-releasing their seasonals AND two never released, oak-aged meads.

The two never oak-aged meads to be released this weekend are:

- A traditional mead, made with local honey (all of Sap House's meads are made with local honey)
- Sugar Maple, which is Sap House's flagship

The seasonals being re-released are:

- Chocolate
- Peach Maple
- Strawberry
- Blackberry Maple

In some cases, there is only a case of a particular kind of mead. So everything is very limited. It's all first come, first served.

Sap House will also have its four year-round meads. Those are: Sugar Maple (the non-oak-aged version), Hopped Blueberry Maple, Vanilla Bean and Ossipioja (a mead made with Tempranillo grape juice).

Other local businesses will be at the meadery this weekend, like Winnipesaukee Chocolates, Beaver Ridge Bath and Body, White Gates Farm, La Boca Bakery, Sandwich Creamery and more.

If you want more information, you can visit Sap House at their website or find them on Facebook, which is frequently updated.
