A month ago, I brewed EdWort's Haus Pale Ale recipe, but I replaced some of the base malt with 1 lb Rye Malt and 2 lbs Flaked Rye and used Pacman yeast.

I have to say, it came out very good! It is a nice summery beer with a subtle rye spice that is noticeable but not overpowering. It reminds me a bit of Redhook's Sunrye with more hops and slightly less rye spice.

Just figured I'd share my results. :mug:

Some rye is a nice addition to EdWort's HPA recipe. I have not brewed it with rye but I can see where it would give it something a little different, and be very tasty.
