I have been designing a lot of systems lately and thought it would be nice to have a blog dedicated to each so it would be easier for me to direct people and for reference. Hopefully this helps someone... The single vessel system is a BIAB style brewery that uses only a single kettle for all stages of brewing. It is simple to use and very minimalistic. First the pot is a single kettle with a full steaming basket. Here is how you could do 10 gallon AG batches with a single burner, single pot and single fermenter. That is a pretty sexy system Basic setup this is all you need. Heat all the water of to sparge temps plus a couple degrees for heat loss. Put grains in a grain bag inside steamer basket. Transfer sparge water into...

Hopefully this helps someone... The Twent-E is a Brutus 20e style system that brews 5 gallon batches on a countertop with a single 120 VAC 20 amp outlet. Great for indoor brewing with style! Based on JKarp's awesome countertop Brutus Twenty Build, I came up with this. Yes, it is over-the-top. That's just how I roll.

Hopefully this helps someone... The Eagles Nest is a three vessel system with nesting kettles and a folding stand. This is a very portable brewery and takes up a very small footprint when stored. First, I have always thought a system with nesting kettles would be awesome for a portable brewery, so I went looking and found this: That's a 15g, 10g, and 8g aluminum kettles for $174 shipped. Next, the burner. A few people on here have used this setup to great effect and I think it is perfect for portable breweries. It can be had here for $179 + $45 shipping You will...

Let me start by saying that this project is not for everyone. In my opinion a keezer is the best option for building a kegerator. I merely built this mini fridge because I this is the equipment I had fall into my lap. I hope someone can use my ideas for a better purpose. This should work with most mini fridges that are not the super small ones. Mine was a magic chef. Also I am sorry for the semi-bad pics. I do these posts from work and paint is all i have to work with. 1. First we start with a mini fridge. I suggest not spending money on the fridge. Go to craigslist and wait for a free one or one you can get real cheap. You are about to really destroy this fridge and it will not be pretty. Also keep in mind there is a real chance you...

Quote from Bell's:A barley wine with deep amber color. The brandy of ales, this beer has vintage character and will mature in the bottle at cellar temperature for years. Original Gravity: 1.098 Alc. by Vol.: 10.2% - 335 cal. per 12 oz. Avail. Pkgs.: 4/6/12 oz. bottles (case), 15.5 gal. keg Dates Available: Winter, Limited in Spring Note - Poured into Belgian Goblet for Tasting Purposes. Appearance - Poured a quarter inch head which rapidly dissipated. Small amount of lacing. It is a dark Mahogany in color, like an old leather journal found in a curio shop. There is some yeast in suspension which may have been more a result of my pour than a true reflection of the beer. Aroma - Cold, there is a strong coffee and toffee aroma with...
