I have camlock fittings on my hoses. I got them from BrewHardware.com (Bobby M). His fittings have oversized 5/8" barbs on them, so 1/2" ID silicone hoses stretch over the barbs instead of having to use worm gear clamps on 1/2" barbed fittings. Bobby's fittings are higher flow too.

Totally agree. Most of my kegs have FDTs on them. The kegs I use just for serving, I don't use a filter on their FDTs since the beer is being transferred from a vessel that already has a filter on it's dip tube.

How important is that head rating? I have the older Chugger and it's head rating is 18ft compared to the Anvil's 10ft. The GPM of the Chugger is 7. The Anvil, 6. Is the head rating more important for 3 vessel brewers, especially those using gravity in a three tier setup?

Or get the Komos. Bobby seems to like them. I like mine. I have two Taprites that are good too, but I've had those for a while. Maybe mine were one of the better ones in their day.

Would 34/70 be good for a Mexi-lager? I have the Atlantico kit from NB and was thinking about splitting the batch. 2.5 gallons with WLP-940 and the other 2.5 with 34/70. If another dry yeast is preferable I may just do a starter for the WLP-940 to ferment the whole 5 gallons.

I know, you've already replaced these with the Taprite, but aren't the gauges replaceable on the those just like with the red spunding valves? These are the white valves, correct? I ask, because these valves seem like a cheap way to have individual dialed in pressures.

Sucks to hear that. I've had good luck with my two Taprites, but I bought them years ago. I have a Komos (Kegland) regulator on my kegerator. The Taprite is on my spare co2 cylinder.

Bobby M sells the wilserbags, so I'm assuming @wilserbrewer is still making them. I have both the Wilser Bag and the Brew Bag. I prefer the Brew Bag due to the straps that I can loop to my hoist, but I like them both.
