i have a stout that has been fermenting for four days and i wanted to see what the gravity was so i checked it and all is good . so i tried it to see how its going and it was really bad . and it smells like crap to. is this norm our what?
im planning a IPA with a OG of 1.120 and the FG to 1.030. i have WLP001 yeast and i want to no if i can just add two WLP001 or wine yeast to get the FG.
i want to make a strong ipa about 9 to 11 percent . i got some hops from my homebrew store 4 0z. colum. , 4 0z cascade,and 2 0z cluster and im thinking of adding some oak chips .
