    Largest Pot for Kitchen Stove?

    gf--My pot is at least the size of yours & has worked on out propane gas for over a year w/ no consequences. The heat has presented no problem to the porcelin top.

    a bee in my beer

    I saw a cooking show @ 2mos ago (Andrew Zimmer I think) where he was reviewing a cooking contest in a town using mostly bugs in recipes. The June Bug casserole won. You might bee onto something.

    The stupidest comment on your beer

    Today I got my first "It tasted dark" comment Then found & reqd this entire thread. That coment froma friend who has been considering taking up brewing. Actually liked the brew & the "dark" taste of my Vanilla Cream Ale. It was amusing & a bit ironic to me when T\this thread turned up.

    immersion chiller

    I had the same problem--fixed it w/ SS wire wound tightly around the hose for a greater psi pressure. No more leaks.

    Keeping dogs and wildlife out of hops

    My dogs don't care exscept for the previously mentioned leg lift--luckily the hops all grew several feet higher than the taller one (Lab) can reach when he does lift it. He is also a great deterrent to the deer & other assorted critters that were a problem before getting him.

    Donating Your Beer for a Good Cause

    Not here in Michigan's UP--Health officials have shut down such stuff here in the county of Marquette. Can't donate anything made outside of a commercial kitchen.

    New Brewer, forgot to boil priming sugar?

    Not too many years back the method was to drop @ 1/2 tsp of sugar in each bottle & the siphon the newly fermented beer on top prior to capping. I remember helping my dad do that many times--he never had a problem w/ either infection or bottle bombs.
