The two check valves where silver solder together reason being Tig welding would be almost permanent and the solder it can be disassembled if needed. I know its was turned out of 303 SS and there is amount of time on the lathe. I feel it is a...
Talked swagman into making a new Transfer device now I won't have anymore cracked plastic siphon's. Its made all from SS except the Tip and the top guide. !/2 inch inner tube which makes transfers a lot faster. I was told not to get faint of wallet but finally price was in my books fair...

Works very well plus it has a 2inch dump in the bottom. Top gasket seal well.
Here is the second one with different ideal on top clamps

Guess we are lucky here in the Midwest. Swagman charges 12.00 per 1/2 coupler and furnishes the coupler. He also turn down's half of the coupler to 1 inch drill's the hole and back flows the welds. Says he like to help and keep himself busy.

Had Swagman cut my kegs and this is what he came up with.
Just wish the powers to be would let him on the board but I guess the all mighty dollar is in first and the brewers second

When it comes to hole into the keg I use good quality hole saws. The 1 1/2 ferrule is 1.500 OS so I used a 1 1/2 hole saw used a clamp to hold in position cap the ferrule and back flowed. Couple of tacks and than its off to races.

For electric element this what I had Swagman build for myself
Its 1 1/2 Ferrell with a 1inch SS not nut which is straight threads.
Its built so the box and element can be removed with removable of one 11/2 clamp.
Hope this helps

Have started using kegs for fermentation. Biggest problem I had was transfer.
This is what I came up with. Had the swagman build using a 2 inch cap that has a thermo well, SS racking cane and ball gas hook up. The racking cane is adjustable. Just hook up the Co2 and transfer.
