Nothing to do with beer, but a very common mistake that gets me is the misuse of the word "Calvary" instead of "Cavalry" (I'm a bit of a civil war nut as well as a beer nut, but not a religious nut!)
I have even heard recognized history academics on Youtube confusing these two words...

Glad I am not the only one to have this problem, I tried my first vial of liquid yeast last week and did the same thing! In my case though I was in the process of adding the vial of yeast to a flask of starter - I just carried on and everything seems ok, fermentation is proceeding vigorously...
