Its not that we ARE changing anything, just trying to base the board off the fact that CraftBeerPi stated on facebook that the GPIO would be customizable with plugins. "As is" the board would work just fine with the current rev of CraftBeerPi. THe main thing we want to do is have a way to...
Hey Everyone!
Thought id post some pics of a project I am working on.
Not sure if we are going to sell the boards and whatnot but i figured i should at least get some feedback from the community.
This board was designed to be as small and clean as possible as well as utilise the...
I agree that the cooler would have it's own control. We currently have that set up the same way now with arduino. We just don't want the glycol pump running continuesly. In your system does the pump run all the time or only when cooling is called?
Hey! Anyone know if this system could handle a glycol chilling fermentation across multiple fermenters? We currently have 2 vessels each with ball valve to direct the flow of glycol. I know i could hook up the Cooling GPIO per vessel to the ball valve via relay and such, but my main concern is...
I do get some grains through, but when i take a few pitchers of wort through the bottom and replace into the top for a good filter bed, i get a nice and clean wort. Im thinking of using a muslin bag as well to help with that.
I used a perforated pizza pan. ya know the ones with the little holes in them? Works Great! i cut them into smaller rounds to fit the bottom of the keg or other mash tun. You can buy them at any cooking supply store or grocery store for that matter. Even Wall-mart! 15$
One of these...
Does anyone know of any problems i might run across with force carbonating a keg at room temperature?? I have recently got my brewing setup to be able to brew 60L batches at a time. Because of my new setup, i must carbonate in full size sanke kegs. One issue... i don't have a keezer to keep the...
I wasnt sure what zima even was until i just googled it lol. Sounds interesting...
I think the main problem would be to figure out how much carbon to run it through. Too much, and you would strip it down to weak vodka... lol
What i use is a 5' long piece of 2" Stainless Steel pipe. Place a piece of fleece on one send and clamp it on with a Stainless hose clamp. Fill the pipe 3/4 of the way up with activated carbon. Place the whole unit into the open end of a funnel to collect the vodka coming out of the fleece end...
Im in the process of starting to build me kegerator. i have a whirlpool 4.4 that ive measured and will allow me 2 kegs, and i am going to build the tower myself out of pvc and pieces from kegworks. but the main question i am wondering, am i going to need a 90 degree elbow off the faucet shank...
