    As to adding flavors I would suggest adding them after it has completely finished aging. I do not have experience doing this but I have thought about adding caramel to my cider before and this is what I thought might be best. Let me know how it turns out.

    I use 1 gallon glass jugs that i get from my local super market. They are originally apple juice jugs buy they cost $8 each which is cheaper than they sell for at our home brew shop.
