    I spend a lot of time thinking about brewing but I usually only drink a few pints a week. Some weeks I don't drink any. Maybe I'm just subconsciously getting ready for baby #1 in 2 months!

    Same price to buy empty brown swingtops or full grolsch. I don't like that the bottles are green, but store them right and it won't matter. I sort or like the skunkiness of grolsch in the middle of summer.

    I just bottled a batch that was on the yeast in a better bottle for almost 6 months. From what I've read, I have nothing to worry about. I'm just going to consider the better bottle / oxygen issue a bogeyman until I experience otherwise.

    I just bottled my last batch that was in primary (in a better bottle) for five months. I'll post how it tastes in a few weeks.

    I brewed a Waldo Lake kit from NB yesterday. It came with Centennial Type hops instead of Centennial hops. I just shrugged and threw them in the kettle. I don't have a baseline for this recipe, so I'm not too worried. I would be concerned if I specifically bought Centennial and was given a blend...
