Brewbit Model T - Wifi Temperature Controller

Oops, sorry, all. Looks like a thread is already started over in Fermentation. My bad. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f163/new-temperature-controller-brewbit-417306/

    New Temperature controller (Brewbit)

Cool, count me in for one with dual probes. I just signed up for my first Kickstarter project! ;)

Brewbit Model T - Wifi Temperature Controller

I thought a few people might have interest in the Brewbit Model T, a Kickstarter-based automated controller. Looks like a neat little device that includes a touchscreen, wifi access, and logging. Looks like $175 gets you in line for the device with two probes...

    Bargain Fittings

Me too. Wayne has been great. I've had multiple great ordering experiences. He's always provided top-notch service, including replacing a mis-ordered part and a missing shipment. He's always been a 100% class act. I intend to go back again and again.

Anyone have this 60qt $100 pot?

You won't get the update 60 for that price, but $135-150 shipped is possible. Nice kettles. Just got 3 myself.

Need Help With 1/2" SS Counter Flow Chiller Build

This might help: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/cheyco-cfc-all-stainless-expensive-344466/ I understand that's a 3/8" tube he's using, but you should be able to scale up and use similar parts, no?

The Cheyco CFC all stainless (expensive)

Damn you. I have a perfectly fine copper CFC. Now...I want again. ;) This may be my next project after the brew structure (in progress) and before the keezer (also in progress). Nice work, I think it looks great. (I think I need to stop hanging out in the DIY forum, I'm getting too...

    Serving Homebrew at a Wedding

Might also be fun to order some custom pint glasses for the wedding. Also serves as a little "keepsake" from the wedding. Save a set of four or six for the bride and groom.

Single-tier layout - Right to left or left to right?

Thanks, all. Good thoughts, and I think I'm good going with the left-to-right, as my control panel will be right (dominant hand too). Thanks for the input, all.

Single-tier layout - Right to left or left to right?

Interesting, it seems consensus here is to go right-to-left. Anyone know why most of the commerical systems (B3, Sabco, Synergy, etc.) set up left-to-right? The infamous Electric Brewery seems set up left-to-right, too. But, you guys are right, most homebrew systems and a few other places...

Single-tier layout - Right to left or left to right?

Hi all, I'm about to finalize layout of my single-tier brew structure and start drilling. Before I do, I'm looking for another piece of advice. Do most of you choose to move the beer left-to-right or right-to-left? In other words, do you have the HLT on the right and BK on the left, or...

Anyone use a B3 system or have a Morebeer heavy duty 15-gallon kettle?

I'm making my own variant of the B3 system, and I was wondering if anyone with the 15-gallon kettles could tell me the location of the ball valve center and thermo center (from the bottom of the kettle, ie. a flat surface)? I'd like to make sure I'm getting my fittings in the right place...

Installation of a dip tube above false bottom

Heh. I was kinda hoping to avoid the "try it and see" approach. At least improve my odds against screwing anything up. :)

Installation of a dip tube above false bottom

Thanks. My plan is to use a diptube with a compression fitting. I haven't yet set the ferrule, and I've typically seen them set with some space after the ferrule (1st image) But I could also set it like this at the end, I think (2nd image), thus making it so that it immediately disconnects...
