    Interested in wine making

I have an idea of what kind of wine id like to attempt. So with that said, is there a recipe to clone the Barefoot Red Moskato? I like the flavor of it, and ive been interested in making wine for a while, just didnt know where or how to start. Ive made a few beers over the years and that has...

    Using wood

Do I want to put the wood in the primary or secondary? Probably the secondary so it cant try to ferment with the rest of the bucket?

    New to wine making

Hi all, ive been toying with the idea of making wine for a while now but not sure how to start. My LHBS has the stuff to make several kinds and the nice lady there is knowledgeable but more of a beer person. So what would be a good basic wine? I know some folks who make their own, on of them...

    Using wood

So if I do 151 vodka, how big a bottle would I need? Im seeing soak for a few hours the 350-400 for a bit to dry and toast

    Using wood

Hickory and apple would be chips and cubes, the kind used for smoking. Pecan would be sticks from a buddies tree. Would I want to add them to the fermenting process or use them at bottling time?

    Using wood

Ive been tickling the idea of using wood in my next brew, which will be a toucan American Style light beer. What uses could I get from wood? I have hickory, apple and pecan most readily availible.

    Lookin for a football beer

I just did my very first grain the other day. It was easier then I thought even though I used a few cans of pre extracted malt. So out of all the recipes that have been stated here, what one has a fairly sweet taste? I determined im not a big fan of hoppy beer, to bitter for my tastes.

    Priming sugar

I used table sugar to. What i did was boiled water then added about 2/3 cup of sugar, disolved it, dumped it into by bottling bucket then racked my beer on to it after it cooled a bit. Didnt do a thing to the taste, had a nice carbination to it. :tank:

    Tun Tavern beer clone

Just wondering if anyone has made it or knows how to make a clone of it? Id say its for the Marine Corps birthday in a few weeks but there isn't enought time to brew it and be ready by Nov. 10th but may try it for next year.

    5 gal batch woes

I may not have done it right but my current batch is supposed to be a 5 gal batch. I went to take a hydro sample and discovered that there isn't enough beer in there to make the hydrometer float. I cleaned and sanitised my hydrometer and placed it in the batch itself, I heard the clunk of it...

    Adding flavor

thats the flavor ive gotten will every cherry flavored beer ive tried. they just dont go together that well. i may toss in some raspberries though, that sounds like fun. It will ferment again with the natural sugar of the fruit wont it?

    Adding flavor

I started my second batch of American style light (4th batch total) saturday and I just got to thinking about an hour ago if I should add a fruit flavor? If i did, how would I add it? Ive read somewhere on here that I could add it to the bottom of my secondary and rack the beer on to it, but I...
