I brewed this up last week - 5 days in, added a few vanilla beans that have been soaking in Vodka to the fermenter. Cannot WAIT for this to be done

The green color is probably from the hops...I'm guessing the sample was drawn from the end of the brew kettle? Either way, it's not something to worry about

When your OG hits 1.000 it's probably safe to bottle, unless you're waiting for the yeast to clean up after themselves
