    Mischief's Belgian Blonde

Mischief is my cat. (In the photo in the avatar). This recipe isn't really a direct clone of anyone else's as far as I know. To be honest, I haven't brewed a batch of this in a couple of years. Maybe I should, we've got a few months of warm days left.

Thanks :) (Sorry I've been away for a while. Just moved house and rebuilding my brewery now. Will be brewing again soon...)

    Rock Goddess Kolsch

Made this one specifically for my SWMBO to take to the rehearsal studio for band practice. It's refreshing but very tasty. Approved by your local thirsty musicians. 8lb german pilsner malt 1lb munich malt 1lb honey 1oz sterling (pellet, 6.5%aa) @ 60 min 1oz crystal (whole flower...

    Best brew under 4%....

I, and everyone I've served it to, think that this is awesome: Sterling Gold

7 hour port braised lamb shanks

My SWMBO always hated lamb until I started cooking it for her. This is so rich and fall-off-the-bone good it's not lamb as most people know it. Alternatively this should work quite well with something like chuck roast as well. Maybe back off a bit on the allspice, add a few mushrooms towards...

7 hour port braised lamb shanks

made these last night, folks were squirming in their chairs making orgasmic noises... 4 lamb shanks 2 cups prunes 1 carrot 1 med onion 1 pint stock (I used veal) 2 tbsp cumin (toasted, ground) 2 tbsp allspice 2 tbsp thyme 1/2 bottle port 1/4 lb bacon 2 cups flour salt + pepper for seasoning oil...

110 degrees, 120 gallons of homebrew

Nope, all 5 gallon stovetop runs. (Even the AG is stovetop, I just put the kettle on top of two burners) Other people bring free stuff too, and I eat/drink/play with that. Some folks are parasites, but most people bring something to contribute. It's kind of a pot-luck party - one person...

110 degrees, 120 gallons of homebrew

Some folks see it that way, and they annoy the p*ss out of me too. The only reason that it works is that everyone brings more than they need with them and shares it with their neighbours. Anyone who believes that it's a sustainable model has a very poor grasp of arithmetic, or too much acid, or...

Every weekend for quite some time. But it was worth it.

It's a mixture. There are hippies wandering about semi-naked (but we have a compressed air pants-launching cannon for dealing with them, at least the ones you don't want to see naked), there are people driving around in Mad Max cars with propane flares attached, there are ravers pilled up all...

I can't stand it when BMC drinkers say sh*t like this

There's only one way to respond to someone like that: "F--k you, brew your own f--king beer then if you don't like mine".

An "arts festival" that happens every year in the middle of Nevada. The Burning Man Project :: Welcome Home Sufficiently unique that I'd say everyone should go at least once in their lives - doesn't work for everybody, but if it clicks for you you'll have an awesome time.

The red thing on the right (between the cornies and the bar itself) is a jockey box that ate huge quantities of ice, but did a fine job keeping the beer cold.
