if i added pectin enzyme before pitching yeast is it still effective if i rack my batch over to a secondary with fresh strawberries in it?

going to try it with fresh pumpkin i plan is to boil with fresh pumpkin in muslin bag then after moving wort to primary move pumpkin with it hoping it will retain a lot of the pumpkin flavor. then in a week or so remove pumpkin and rack in secondary.

would it make much of a difference if i use LME or DME ? also did you carb yours at all or bottle it still? i was thinking of trying to carb a few.

after pulling the grains do i add the dme? then return to a boil then start adding my hops?

i have a big 10lb pumpkin left over that is in good shape how can i ad this to a cider recipe? should i boil it and put in a straining bag in secondary? or put in primary with campden tablets?

i think i could find a way to secondary with berries in a bag in a better bottle but should i dose my brew before or after secondary with pectin ? how many pounds would you suggest for a 5 gallon batch? 3lbs?
