    I've since switched to all grain but would happily brew this extract recipe again. At almost a year in bottles its really taking on the deep rich chewy chocolate taste that I knew it would.

    Yep, 5 gallon batch. The lees/trub were so fine I pretty much got 5 gallons of end product.

    Light Lemonade Mead

    No I just made a mistake and didn't check gravity. Last night the people I had over drank about 25 bottles of it. I'd say it's a hit. Oh as soon as I knew it was a lil over carbed a threw them in the fridge to stop fermentation.

    It may not be proven but it's pretty the same basis as lemonade mead. I almost exactly copied this with ale yeast and it came out great. It's gonna be my lawn mower brew.

    So 5 days after my last post and now they are over carbed. I guess I got excited and made a rookie mistake and didn't check gravity. Oh well I put them in the fridge to calm the yeasties. Even over carbed it's still damn good.
