I just tried this beer and I loved it. I'm not big on Belgian whites but white zombie is one of my favorite wheats now. If you would like id be happy to collaborate with you to create a recipe.

You could try a mouse with a tiny scrub brush. That's what the original owner of my carboy did.

Here is the final product. The mouse was pretty well dissolved, all that was left was the spine and the ribs, th skull floted off when I dumped it out. No picture of the mouse remains but here is a sparkling slightly toxic carboy.

Here he is from another angle. This weekend I'll start with a lye solution and post some updates as it cleans up the mess.

Lye sounds like the best solution, I'll pick some up and post some pics of the process. I'll follow up with bleach. What concentration would be appropriate to unmouse the carboy?

That is horrifyingly effective. I might give it a shot if the chemical cleaners don't do the trick.

I just bought some used brewing equipment and one of the carboys has become the final resting place for a mouse. It been in there for a long time, and its pretty well stuck to the bottom of the jug. Is it worth my time to try and clean the carboy, or is it time to trash it?

I fianly read through all this thread, took a few months but Im finally caught up, and to top it all off I have a slightly amusing thing I heard about beer. At my cousin's batchlor party we got a little carried away, what started with some friendly beer pong quickly devolved in to Bacardi pong...

I haven't brewed it yet, but its next on my list.

Just finished my 1st solo beer, an imperial whiteish chocolate sorta stout. So far it looks good.

Just picked up the grains and hops from the LHBS but they only had 1 pack of the 1084 so I picked up a pack of wyeast 1318. I plan on using both just for funzies to see what I get.
