    Crazy question: Can I use an old milk jug as a fermenter?

    So I decided I want to make a bunch of 1/2 gallon brews to experiment with different recipes. Can I use a plastic milk jug to do this (has anyone done this successfully)? If not, is there a cheap way to get 1 gallon glass jugs? Thanks.

The air lock doesnt have many bubbles at the moment.... but Ive been taking gravity measurements and my beer is at 1.100 right now, it seems a little high? Im brewing an IPA, I figured the FG should be closer to 1. I guess my question...

    Ah ok, Ive been reading around it sounds like you guys are saying I should follow the 1+2+3 rule, but add the 1+2 because Im not doing secondary. Thanks guys!.
