Getting Started - Skip extract and go straight to BIAB?

I just did my first BIAB, in a 9 gal pot, turned out ok but 10 gal would be better. My first all grain batch was a 1 gallon Brooklyn Brew kit. You can do it all on the stove and its a good learning experience .

Ok, thanks for the replies. I was thinking due to the "thickness" of the wort it may get hotter. Guess not..

    Boil temp ?

I'm curious if there's a temp that shouldn't be exceeded when boiling the wart?? Can't bad things happen if it gets too hot?? I keep mine at a slow boil, or just boiling .. Any thoughts?

Increased boil time for a better beer?

I wait for the hot break before adding hops But I can't see how boiling longer could be good. Seems like the sugars wouldn't like it. But who knows..

    Reuse yeast cake

Haven't tried a Belgian IPA . My LHBS puts the clone kits together and has a suggested yeast. I'll head up there and get the right yeast, but an $8 yeast turns into $100 real quick anytime I go there LOL.

    Reuse yeast cake

    Reuse yeast cake

So, I've got a fat tire clone in the primary, used Wyeast 1214? Belgian Abby . Was wondering how this yeast would work with an IPA that's up next.
