I'm doing this right now, and have seen others do it, but I'm very new to this so I can't speak to the results of using these instead of glass.

This is probably a very newbish question, but would it be better to bottle in dark bottles or does the bottle color make little difference with mead? Thanks

You could always make a very small batch and see how it turns out.
