Nice job! I've been doing work on the outside of my side by side, purchased the ebay controller but have yet to find the time and/or nerve to start with cutting up the inside. I am planning to do a kegerator/fermentation chamber as well.
I don't spend nearly enough time thinking about brew projects. I've probably been in hobby lobby 100 times and never thought to look at all those imported nick nacks as brew pub material.
I've never used the braid method but to me it just makes sense that a square manifold running the 4 corners of your icechest and probably a couple of rows in the middle, will acheive better results that a single row (which is the copper braid) in the middle. FYI, I think that for most of us...
My wife and I had the Breck Vanilla Porter at the Brewery after a full day on the slopes back in January. She flew a six pack back to Houston with her not knowing we could find it at the local HEB. :D She loves the stuff, for me its just ok. I can attest that it tastes much better on tap...

Looks good but you might consider changing the pipe connect to the area just in front of the bulkhead. Speaking from experience, as your wort level decreases so will the vacuum and you will need to tilt the cooler to get all of the wort out. With the connection on the side like that you will...
I'm not certain but that bulge, unless it is concave from the inside, looks like it may be an air pocket for insulation purposes? In any event you want to make sure there is no air in that section (i.e. drill it) so that you don't end up with a keggle-splosion on your hands. Otherwise I say...
Despite your efforts in this endeavor I don't think you can accomplish what you are trying to accomplish. If I correctly gather what you are tyring to do here, it sounds like you are essentially trying to make a cyberQ controller out of the ebay aquarium controller.
The first (and biggest)...
