    Draft Setup

Thank you, I will look at those sites you suggested. It might be a while till I get them since I am moving to a new city and new job. But I am hoping I can get a kegging system in February.

Ok, tell me why I shouldn't buy one of these...

Yeah it is close. I wasn't saying it is the best way to do it but if you don't have a caliber or want to buy one. And hey if it worked for Archimedes to find a really good approximation of pi you could do it if you are precise.

You don't have to have a caliber. You could us a string and measure outside and inside diameter then do a little math and you can get the thickness.

    Draft Setup

I am thinking about getting a draft beer setup. I am just wondering exactly what I would need and how much they cost and where I should get them. I need a CO2 container. I was thinking 20lb or is that overkill? And if I want to switch to N2 can I use the same tank? A regulator and lines. Taps...

    Making a bottle drying rack

I really like that idea. It reminds me of what they use for making champagne to get the yeast to the neck. Wish I had thought of that myself. I use the dishwasher rack like the other poster said.

Tasting notes of a 137 year old beer

That is technically not true about alcohol being the only thing from history we can taste. Since you bring up the pyramids honey from them thousands of years old can still be tasted safely. Granted humans didn't make it so it doesn't have the same story to go with it like these beers do. But it...

    Coors is better than bud.

I do the same thing with cereal boxes. I think its more of something to read that warms up my brain from sleeping. Even if it the same one I read yesterday.

    Coors is better than bud.

NordeastBrewer I feel like I need to correct you on Guinness. It was not on the two list you showed me on AB-InBev. For everyone reading this thread you might want to know that in fact it turns out that Diageo owns it. And it has been Diageo brand since 1997. Since it seems the biggest debate...

    Coors is better than bud.

Thanks for the list. It was an interesting one. While I don't disagree with you that brewing an American light later is hard I believe it is a fallacy to equate it being hard to make to it being good. However I agree with you on the bashing BMC it gets me know where is is completely done to...

    Coors is better than bud.

Hey NordeastBrewer I would like to see that list as it would be eye opening to know. I already knew about goose island. I would like to know about the others.

    Carboy 6.5 gallon $25

Yeah I could which is why the 15 dollars was the cut off. And I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking in the shipping. Thanks for keeping my place in line.

    Carboy 6.5 gallon $25

Sorry I wasn't able to get on till now. Yeah the 20 makes it too much. Thanks for the offer.

    Carboy 6.5 gallon $25

Yeah I would be willing to pay shipping if it is reasonable in $15 dollar range. I really won't know how to ship a carboy though or how much it would cost. My zip is 46033. If you want I can pm you my email.
