I built mine as a two socket system. You don't have to use both. That way if your temperature control needs change in the future, it's as simple as plugging in the new heating/cooling source and setting the temps. Remember to label them. Cheers ��

Update ...All my recipes are back!! I decided to see if there was a way to restore my phone to an earlier date. So I backed up what was on my phone and did a restore from the last backup, which was October 2014. To do the restore, you have to do a number of things including turning off...

Usually one would start with the "lighter", less hoppy beers and work your way up to the higher gravity more bitter beer. If you don't mind a wheat beer with a high hop aroma/ flavor, go for it.

Yeast will have different odors coming off during fermentation, and each type yeast will have its own unique smell. Just let it roll, and they will clean up after themselves.

It worked out okay. This second batch is much better, though. Remember to try not to splash when transferring to secondary, ( maybe in a month or more), so you don't oxygenate your mead.
