    This post is old so this might be a moot point, but in case anyone else finds it and can benefit, I used a pot switch on mine too... I added a marked up photo on my post here (http://www.thebitterbrewer.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=64#p185) to illustrate the wiring to the pot switch.
