    I just bought a Belgium beer kit from a store that went out of business. When I got home, I found that the can of Munton's LME was bulging. I'm not sure if I can use it. Can anyone give some input?

    How did it turn out with the kool-aid? Did you get carbonation from the sucralose?

    I used sweet and low and bottled it. I didn't prime it. Although, the older it gets, there are little carbonation bubbles in it. I read the ingredients for sweet n low and it contains dextrose. I think I have a happy accident.

    Does any one know how many times is ok to use the yeast cake? I know it adds up after using yeast twice.

    When i was a kid, stroh's brewery made white mountain cooler. I am in the process of making a hard lemonade right now. However, I was wondering if any one has a recipe that is near or like the white mountain cooler like in the 80's. I'm thinking it is probably about the same as hard lemonade...

    I live in northern pa and it's been really nice in day. But at night it's cold. Sounds like they don't mind the cold but frost could hurt.

    I too live in an area where it can snow or freeze until about late may. I'm wondering from this thread if my new cascade rhizome will manage. It's my first shot at this.

    Just bought a bunch of brown sugar and I have a ton of left over black berries from last year. Plus I realize I have a champagne yeast in my pile. Should I go for some funky hooch and any recommendations?

    Ok. So I'm now head long into making beer and my imagination is going crazy. I remember making a Hooch when I was a kid with grape juice, sugar, and bread yeast. Damn nasty.
