Sorry for the noob question but I've been trying to study up on kegging and the amount of new and old info is beginning to blend and make my head hurt. I just kegged my first two batches and skipped using sugar ... A little worried I F*$#4 it up.
just for experimentation I did a 1/2 g "starter" and let it ferment all the way out ... :drunk: apple wine? I should have checked my OG. not a great apple flavor. Not giving up on the farmhouse yeast just yet ... one more try with frequent gravity checks. any suggestions on an ideal gravity/abv?
Update: I added 8oz of orange honey thinking I'd bump the abv ... Blew the blow off straight off the top of the fermenter! (A small hop cone plugged the tube too, thought I was thorough straining the hops ... )

I've been drooling over this recipe for a while now and today is the day. ingredients are all layed out, Beer Smith is cued up and all my conversions for a 3 gallon batch are complete. it was nice to fine tune my ingredients. my cascades are whole cone and 7.7 AA and 8 AA for FWH. can't wait to...
