Brewing this beer again today it's been to long. I am using a little less roasted barely (.20) and crystal 40 instead of 60. Cheers

Tossed in the dry hops today and the aroma is already crazy good. Can't wait to drink this bad boy.

Brewed it this weekend, hit all the numbers I will keep you posted. Oh and if your like aroma this is amazing!!!

Alright guys, so I am putting together an IIPA for a contest that I am entering here locally. Winner gets to brew with a local brew master, so I am really trying to step it up. I am using some unique hops that I have in the freezer (pellets) and trying to blend bittering with some amazing aroma...

I brewed an IPA with Meridian and El Dorado hops mixed. I did the beer like Dogfish head does 60 minute and dry hopped with 1 oz each (8 gallons). Turned out great. One of the more popular beers among my beer friends.

So I have an entire set of the Stone Vertical Epic 02-12... I was wondering what is a set like that worth. I am not trying to sell it but just get an idea what it's value is.

There is one for sale all the way out in Idaho and to top that off they only want $12,000 for it :)

I would personally stick with the 2 gallons but you could do it either way. I do all grain only any more but when I did the extract i personally like to steep in 1-2 gallons and boil at 5-6 (expect some boil off and you want 5 gallons net).

Sorry for not putting on my recipe about steeping the grains, but yes all the specialty grains I steeped for 30 minutes at 160. It's a great recipe and from some blind taste test of buddies they picked this one over the commercial version (not saying its better, but it's dang good). Good luck...
