    CPVC Manifold

    Yes, slides into the copper and fastened with a small #6 stainless screw. The copper fitting is the same 1/4" size as the CPVC, the other (threaded) side is 5/8". I would like to do a full cross in the middle instead of just 3-way "T", but I cant find a 4-way 1/4" CPVC fitting.

    Should I split my US-05 yeast starter?

    The beer seems to be fermenting along nicely (after about a 18hr lag) at 60-62F. The only odd thing so far is the krausen. Its the most perfectly fluffy white I have ever seen. Usually it looks like vomit. Any thoughts as to why? I'm not worried in the slightest, just curious.

    Pitched it this morning. 36hr old 1L starter into 5 gallons of 1.062 wort @ 60F. I'll give it a look when I get back from the State Fair.

    Beer People are Annoying

    Beer nerds are funny. My two favorite beers are my personal oatmeal stout and.......Mich golden light! I love reading the "bmc is satan" threads. On a hot day nothing beats a Mich in my opinion.
