    Extract vs AG brewing questions?

    If you have the equipment and enjoy the process of AG, it is worth it. However, if you do not want to spend so much time and money you can brew pretty good beer with extracts.

    Temperature Controller

    Hello, I just got done converting a mini fridge in to a fermentation chamber and ordered a Johnson Control A19AAT-2C Freezer Temperature Controller from Amazon. What I want to know is if the temp is set to 62° and the ambient temp in the room is say 55° will this be a problem?

    My OG was 1.050 and FG was 1.018. I didn't know there was a formula, I thought the FG reading was the alcohol content.
