What would you like to see in an automated temp controller? It wouldn't be that hard to make one that's fully programmable (even in 1 hour increments), and with either WiFi or Bluetooth so you can check it from your tablet/smartphone, or even from anywhere over the internet?
I'm very excited to start 1 gallon batches. I'll still be doing 5 gallon extract brews, but this will let me experiment with all grain and crazy ideas.
So I've got an idea for making two batches of about the same pale ale, one smoked one "normal", any thoughts on these recipes?
What I'm going for is a mildly hopped beer, and to do both smoked and not smoked batches. This is for a special event at work in June.
