Im sorry if I seem a tad put off, but ever since my first post I have been veiwed as inferior due to my lack of beer knowledge. Instead of help, ive been getting the run down and have been told to read more. Ive done a hell of alot of reading but theirs still ALOT im not understanding...

a new recipe, somthing that friends can taste and say wow... id pay for this. thats the goal for me.

give me time and ill soon be in your shoes. i rarely use computers, to be honest im only ever on here when I need to know somthing... ei: making beer. and the rare email read. I shall learn from mistakes, no need to be a jerk about it. Ill use the search bar from now on.

thats not my goal, that might be yours. I like doing new and crazy stuff, thats what got me into this.

orfy im simply asking if my goal is approachable.

I plan on taking all the advice i get and putting alot of money into this, I enjoy the art already and i havnt even done anything right yet.

My general goal is to make my own beer recipe one day, Is this a farfetched goal or can this be done. I guess what im asking is, If beer is only four or so ingredients, Is it crazy for a guy like me to dream of my own unique recipe or have basically all types and formats of beer been done...

I didnt come up with it, I just found fruit and beer to be an interesting concept!

I read somthing about "fruit" flavouring your beer. Some dude put fruit, like pinneapple in his beer so it could extract the flavour and give the beer a hint of the taste. If you were to do that to 5Gallons of beer, would you chop up pinneapple and put it in the carboy durring the secondary...

Yea, It serverd its purpose for about 2 days. But oh well... I just noticed my temp is at 18C, Im guessing this is no good either lol. It should be at 20 right now.

Ok, I just went down to my pantry and cut a hole in the bag, And taped the airlock inbetween the hole. Now it is airtight and has the airlock to breath. Problem fixed. I best go down and buy a lid somtime soon.
