Got my score sheet last night. My American stout scored 19 and 21. Same beer got 33 and 36 in another contest. Must have done something wrong while bottling?

Great service and lots of knowlege. Stopped by last night and he had a good amount of used ball lock kegs for less than $50. Those are getting hard to find.
The material was left over from a non brew related project at work. I had one of our fabricators roll and weld it and add the handle. He created the twisted key stock handle to give it a custom look.
Brewing tommorow, two seperate brews simultaniously, while expaining to a few non-home brewers what I'm doing, and enjoying a few pints.

I would trash them. If you ever get over to the Fort Worth area, you can get NEW bottles at Texas Brewing Inc. for $8 a case (12 oz). Since finding this deal, I have given up on de-labeling and cleaning.:rockin:

I made one and have been using it for about two years. It is about 4" diameter and 16" deep. the perf is 3/32 holes on 5/32 centers. Stainless steel of coarse.
I made the disk oversized because I thought part of the heat affecting the garrage door was come up the outside of the HTL from the burner. May be overkill, but time will tell.
