    Best Grain Mill

I've been brewing for 20+ years. The Barley Crusher is the best money I ever spent, hands down.

    Nuclear Carboy??

I don' t know anything about the NRC markings, but when I worked at a nuke plant in Ohio back in the 1980s, I took home three glass carboys by the water cooler that were empty. Hope they were used for drinking water and not radioactive waste. I never considered scanning with an AN-PDR45!

Paddle for A Deep Brew Pot

I picked up a stainless steel paddle at a restaurant supply house for $20. It's about 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall and is wonderful. Next to my BarleyCrusher, it's the best $$ I've ever spent.

    Corny Keg Lid

    Mill Replacement

I pride myself on going cheap as possible, adapting equipment for brewing, keeping things simple. But one area not to scrimp is on a mill. Buy the best you can afford and you will be happy you did. I received a Barley Crusher for Christmas last year. Best present I ever got in my life.

    Is it against the rules?

I first used the small C-clamps used in woodworking to help regulate the outflow from the lauter tun during fly sparging. Worked pretty well, too.
