Glad to see this recipe has been brewed by others! Sad to read the DFH is discontinuing this beer.
Cheers, pshankstar! Your recipe looks great. I would love to brew it, but have have to stick with GF ingredients due to my allergy. Let us know how it turns out. Thanks for the mention!
Well done! I would be interested in seeing the recipe.
For me at least, homebrewing is a journey. I have added some nice equipment over the past three years. Good beer can be made with the most basic of the basic equipment, but certain upgrades do save time and make the process equally...
What a great topic! I too, prefer my GF homebrew to anything on the market here on the East Coast, with the exception of Green's. Green's Quest is my personal favorite.
My biggest failure to date was a Pumpkin Pie Spice IPA. It resulted in a drain pour, even after extended aging in hope of...
Nice looking recipe. I have done a few lagers with all sorghum and they came out clean. Please keep us updated on how this turns out.
Off topic, but I brewed your Altbier recipe a few years back and it was one of my favorite beers I have ever had. Thanks for sharing your recipes!

Are you steeping the roasted buckwheat and roasted oats?
I have never had the opportunity to taste Fat Tire, but the recipe itself looks good and should make a fine GF beer. I personally find that brown rice syrup goes well with sorghum. Buckwheat honey in my experience has added a nice...
I left the beer on the fruit in secondary for 30 days.
I sampled this beer last night. First impressions were favorable. Carbonation was good. The appearance was excellent. The beer was clear with a subtle reddish tint from the strawberries. The taste was much better than anticipated...
