Single Tier 304 SS Brutus 10 Type System

The boil kettle burner is only burner that is strictly regulator controlled. Love controllers / Asco valves / pilot lights control the HLT and MT burners.

Single Tier 304 SS Brutus 10 Type System

I have decided to sell my Brutus 10 (stainless steel) system. I purchased this system from a well-known HBT member who ultimately went pro. This single tier was constructed above and beyond the standard Brutus 10. It started with 0.083" wall thickness 304 SS (great balance of mass/durability)...

    Blichmann Fermenator o-rings

Nope, still waiting. If anyone knows any replacement part numbers for any of the o-rings or triclamp seals, please share. It would save having to spend $16 for an entire prepackaged replacement set.

To those who have one of the ebay filters: Do you prefer it to rest on the bottom of the kettle or hang above the bottom a couple inches?

    sparge water too hot

I usually do a double batch sparge. My brewing software (BTP) usually calls for the first sparge to be at 190F and the second at 170F. Never had any problems.

    S-04 two days

You used 1 packet? I'm brewing a Founders Breakfast stout clone on Sat. (OG 1.079) & will be using dry yeast (S-05) for the first time. Mr Malty is calling for something like 3.3 packets. Does this sound right?

    *** Best AG software ***

I love Beer Tools Pro. It's easy, great UI, thorough database, and easy to scale recipes based on batch size and/or efficiency. The community support issue doesn't even factor in for me. I can enter any recipe I see on the forums here, from Brewing Classic Styles, from BYO etc into BTP. scale...

    Brewing Beer...but breaking the bank.

You'll never feel fully ready and prepared to go AG, especially if you've never watched or helped anyone do it. It can be a bit intimidating at first. You just have to jump in and brew your first batch, and then I promise you, you will be hooked. It's a lot easier than you might think. And it...
