    how many computer u.p.s. boxes (Battery back ups) have you thrown away over the years.? I've built many projects out of those. (If you don't need rain tite)

    50amp GFI keeps tripping.

    Gfci is not normally used for electronic controls because of "Leakage" I do not know what you are running off of this. but..... That may be the issue.

    Oh. and ground fault won't always protect from arcing. Arc fault breakers do that but are only required in bedrooms. I guess that's because that's where all the sparks are? :-)

    Trut so pure. Looks like some damage was done to the wire insulation. In a high load situation this could cause arcing. Arcing lights fires. Bad bad bad.

    50amp GFI keeps tripping.

    Is your neutral and ground hooked together anywhere except for your primary breaker panel? Redundant grounds are bad and cause gfci's not to work so well.

    Howdy! Been lurking and learning at this forum for a few months and just decided to join up, To get it out of the way in case I have a question or sumtin..... Really. I aint here to cause no trouble or nuthin'. (Backs out slowly with stolen 12 pack under coat.)
