Apple Cinnamon Cyser
Just bottled - yup I used a whiskey bottle to bottle... Don't hold it against me... I will remove the labels when I care more about label removal than I do about the AWESOMENESS that's contained inside... Meaning my wife might remove the labels at some point...
Just getting beautiful banana smell, I boiled chopped bananas in a mesh bag for 30mins. Removed the bag and squeezed to get any extra liquid. Added a bit of brown sugar and honey. Cooled - Tossed into jar. Pitched yeast and put on airlock. This is 3 days later.
Looks like kamboucha; the banana pulp separated and started floating at the top. This morning it had dropped to half way. Just got worried cause I've never seen pulp float like that before.
Here's a blackberry current and a cyser just racked to second carboy will take pictures and post. The cyser came out dry and The other came out like a dessert wine.
Hey everyone! I'm a little confused with the Hydrometer. If I take a OG reading and then a FG reading, the difference between the two tells me the approx Alcohol % - but what if I rack into Secondary on top of more fruit or syrup or juice for added colour...?
Doesn't that throw everything...
Ahhh I see! Thank you! K time to start another batch. Does it make a difference if you rack onto fresh or frozen fruit or even perhaps juice? Also doesn't this mess up your gravity readings? Thoughts?

I made a blueberry melomel and in the initial stages the colour was amazing! But as it cleared it ended having none of the purple it had at the begging.
