I'm new to brewing beer although I've fermented other things like lemon mead, kombucha, and lots of kinds of pickles. I've been wanting to get into beer brewing for a long time and have been motivated to get started on beer by a desire to brew a decent gluten-free beer for my wife who has celiac disease. To that end, I've been doing a lot of research on malting various gluten-free grains in addition to all-grain brewing. I'm interested in both learning about and brewing a bunch of my favorite styles of beer as well as learning how to brew with medicinal herbs and spices.
